Habitations JLJ

Habitations JLJ introduces a contemporary residential design in which the building’s massing is carefully articulated to break down its overall scale and create a rhythm that is both understated and dynamic. The interplay of white brick volumes and vertical wood cladding defines the façades, distinguishes the individual units, and brings warmth and depth to the overall composition.

Recessed and projecting volumes, along with balconies, animate the elevations while fostering a direct connection between the living spaces and the outdoors. The window arrangements, intentionally varied throughout, further enhance the composition and give each façade its own distinct identity.

At the front, the main entrance is highlighted by a generous portico in warm tones, creating a clearly defined and welcoming point of arrival. A palette of natural, light-toned materials, combined with restrained landscaping, allows the project to maintain a contemporary presence while blending seamlessly into its residential surroundings.

Overall, the project embraces a simple, light-filled, and enduring architectural approach. Through a thoughtful interplay of volumes, textures, and proportions, the repetition of the residential units is carefully balanced to create a welcoming, human-scaled living environment.
